Which should I focus on first to convert more excess fat?

Ok so let's assume you want to get rid of excess weight in those hard to shed areas. If you never know whether focus on weights of cardio after your warm-up then look no further because the answer is undoubtedly 'WEIGHTS'!


This is because when you do weights you want to be at your strongest so you can lift weights for longer. More energy means more lifting!

Why?

The reasoning behind this is simple. Focussing your preliminary efforts on weights means your body will use its short term glucose storage for energy while your lifting. By the time you switch to cardio near the end of your workout your body will be burning fat instead of the glucose in your blood and muscles making your time on the cardio equipment so much more effective!
